She plundered into the realm, though with no particular disposition. Whether happy, excited, scared, or nervous one couldn't tell. Not to say she was numb and immune to feeling; her heart still beat. Just to say she was extraordinarily ordinary. She ached, craved even, for something exhilarating to happen. She wanted to live. Always she had been bound by some unseen rope, and she so wished for freedom. With the thought of some adventure her walk increased to a trot, her head high and ears pricked. Then she was reminded of the dull life she had held so far. Again she fell into a walk, head at normal height, and lobes rotated to a relaxed, almost lazy position. To be brutally honest, she didn't know how to seem interesting, different, or in anyway lustrous. Just her.
If any came she would be surprised. Only thing one might see in her is breeding stock. She could accept that. But like any femme; she wished for so much more. A knight to sweep her off her feet, a gentleman who could send roses, a lord who would cherish her. But who would? She was nothing special. Sure, nicely colored but that was about it. If she amounted to nothing it was not dampen her spirits; long ago she gave them up to someone who could put them to better use. A robot she had almost become. A routine. Even in her eyes she was dull. If horrible things were doomed to her; she would take them in stride. Nothing really disappointed her anymore, struck fear in her heart, nor frustrated her. The only emotion left standing was hope. Hope for a better tomorrow today. Not depressed, don't declassify her to it. Just a soldier who had lost her company, her commander, and her compass.
She didn't release a call into the wild to summon any wondering males. Better yet, she couldn't. Others couldn't know this, however. To them she was just another wondering homeless gal. In a way, she was so much more. In some eyes, she reflected this exactly. What of her fate she couldn't tell and could hardly decide. Did she want to continue her normal, routine, hardly exciting life? Or were these winds of change that beat about her body and tangled her tresses? A for-limb beat the earth in her indecisiveness, and the dirt that rose settled within her nostrils. A snort was required to regulate the airflow, but all that she ever accomplished was a harrowing wheeze that barely completed the job. Not exactly appealing she was sure, but at least she could breathe, yes?
And so she waited. If it took near eternity for her prince charming to arrive, then so be it. If chance required her to satisfy a blunt brute she would obligate, but still her dreams would continue. He could not keep her tied up forever; her lost yet undiscovered knight would continue to haunt her mind and taunt her heart. Never would she forget that she wanted happiness, wanted to escape this dead-beat life. She found her way deep into the marsh-type terrian and discovered a lonely willow. There she rested contently until one would arrive. That is, if anyone wished for one such as herself

Brisa was alone again the poor little filly took to hiding for a wile but she was pushed out by a pack of wolves.Thank god they were young and the filly was small enough to get away from them by hiding in a few rocks at a lagoon. Her palomino coat dirty and scratched from the tough run the little filly had endured. The pack had finally given up and left the little horse to rest. She sighed and walked slowly out of the rock hiding place and sucked at the water as if it were her life all in one.She looked up in time to see another equine pass and find a place to rest under a tree. She stood still for a moment remembering all the other mares who had chased her away though she was so young. The filly finally took a few steps walking slowly to the mare ready to run if needed though she had no clue where she would go.
"H-hello" Her voice was raspy from exhaustion and lack of any nutrition. The filly was forced off of her mothers milk and onto grass and it was hard for her to eat and digest and she was sort of showing this though she was filling out a bit she was still skinnier then most of the other fillies her age.She watched shivering wondering if the mare would pin her ears at her and chase her away. Her legs shook and and she even began to gum at the mare showing submitting and asking in a way if the mare would please not hurt her.

The palomino had started to doze; the gentle lap of water against its' banks and the quiet hum of insects were as good as any lullaby. She honestly didn't expect anybody to find, much less notice, herself. That's how it had almost always been, especially the last several years. Anywhoo, twin lobes were lazy in their stance, not keeping a good listen out. Eyes were half closed, and what wasn't was basically glazed over. They picked up some crunching underfoot, but put the sound warning aside, assuming it was a deer or something. Definitely not large enough or with the weight of any normal horse. But then some soft words hit harks like a scream, and immediately all senses were on high alert.
Blue eyes opened completely, and cranium turned to look at the newcomer. Stance remained calmed, but the attentiveness she gave the little one was a bit of a surprised welcome. In fact, thorns went in reverse, glued to neck. Ruhe was a bit upset with herself in allowing any to sneak up on her. Generally her senses were much more tuned-in than other equines. It was every other blue moon that anything approached her without her fully aware of it. But this was just a young filly; a malnourished one at that. Of all the things that might have been a threat out here, this was not one of them. Ears returned to a more normal stance, and a hind was again rested. Serpentine was extended a bit in a greeting, but withdrew itself in silence. That wasn't too unusual for her though. Ruhe was always silent.
