He moved in the silence of the mid day. The only sound traveling on the air was the soft patter of his hooves across the ground. Brown eyes where narrowed as his mane and tail where played with by the gentle wind that moved them as he himself moved forward. A smooth trot, not to fast, but not a snails pace either. Oh, his mind was thinking of many different things, but mostly of Grace and Hector. The mare he lost, scared by the sight of him murdering Hector another stallion who wished for her heart. He claimed he would never love again, and perhaps he wouldn't. For the chestnut mare with a white black and one white sock on her front left leg was the only mare his heart longed for. Then the memory of Hector the buckskin Spanish stallion laying on the ground in his own blood eyes missing. Oh it haunted him so, but he used it to be who is was. It was twisted, but the lone stallion used the troubles of his past to be the noble yet mysterious stallion he is now. Moving though the forest he wasn't really watching where he was going, but he stayed on the path in front of him well enough.

She stuck to the shadows, her obsidian eyes gleaming in the occasional shaft of light that dared to filter through the thick canopy above. She swished her slightly curly tail, sauntering along a small deer path she had long ago found and traveled by much these days. Despaire was being much more active now, for some instinctual force that seemed to pull her forward. Despaire stopped dead at the sound of another's hooves and she slid in between a pair of oaks that grew in the darkest of shadows. A very light snort rippled from her nostrils as her eyes alighted upon the stallion. She stiffened, posture going ram-rod straight. How long ago had it been that she had laid eyes upon another, much less a stallion? Despaire's eyes roved over his pale bodice again. He wasnt entirely unattractive. She shifted slightly to the side, swaying to and fro- barely noticeable. Should she go forward and approach him or stay where she was and leave as she always had? "Hello." she said, stepping out of the shadows and onto the path suddenly. Her actions scared her, how often did she do something unexpected? Hardly ever, let alone merely talk to another of the opposite sex.

He should have paid more mind to the things around him rather then his thoughts. As he moved he couldn't hear anything which for a forest was odd. However, he didn't even realized it. That was until his mind was snapped from his thoughts by a Hello. Stopping he blinked as he turned his gaze from in front of him to the mare that spoke. For a moment his heart raced then skipped a beat. Grace? His mind thought as he looked at the mare. No. He thought to himself. His face was free of emotion, almost stoic as he looked at the mare. "Goodbye." He told them mare in a voice that didn't hold any real tone to it. Yet it had a charming dark type of mysteriousness to it as he started to walk forward again. Was someone playing hard to get? Who knows.

The friesian mare watched the stallion stop and pause, looking surprised for perhaps a split second. She was about to introduce herself when he abruptly announced his leave and went to step past her. Her ears flattened back into her obsidian tresses and her dark eyes gleamed dangerously. Despaire moved to block the stallions way, her hooves stomping against the leafy floor. "You dare to cop an attitude with me, stallion?" she hissed, shifting into a position like a cougar about to pounce on its unsuspecting prey. "You do not say such nonsense to me." Despaire said, shaking her head as if dealing with a little foal who was throwing a tantrum. "You do not know who you are dealing with, dear.." the black mare added, chuckling darkly as she looked at the pale stud. "Now why can you not take the time to at least be polite?" she asked, taking a step forward.

This mare didn't get it did she? His face was still stoic as he looked at her. She tired to block his path, tried to play some big scary old boss or what not. He wasn't having. "I don't know you. I don't want to know you." He said in a voice that was empty of emotion. As she throw her fit he moved forward towards her then walked around. "Just leave me alone. You don't scare me nor will you get what you want from me." He added as he looked at her for a moment before moving forward again.

"Of course you dont want to know me. Most who have have been found slain." she said, voice a deadly whisper. The friesian mare watched him walk past, a sneer upon her pretty face. "You've lost someone you cared about, havent you?" Despaire asked, forcing her smirk away. She thought she had finally figured him out. From his expression when he first heard her voice and his cold attitude now. "They ran, didnt they?" she asked, trotting to catch up to him. She swung her hips a little more than needed as she walked, but kept her gaze plain, if not mischievous. "I've had someone I love run on me, before. Though they hardly cared for me in the first place." Despaire said, looking away to make her facade more believable as she kept up her almost friendly chat.
